Know Jesus
You don’t need perfect faith—just a willing heart.
The Invitation
You were made for a relationship with God.
Not religion.
Not a checklist.
Not perfection.
Just you—and Him.
God created you to walk with Him, but like all of us, you’ve probably felt the distance. We’ve all gone our own way. The Bible says:
Romans 3:23 (NIV)
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
And yet, God didn’t leave us there. He sent Jesus to bring us back.
The Man on the Third Cross
On the day Jesus was crucified, two criminals were nailed to crosses beside Him. One mocked. The other looked at Jesus and said just a few simple words:
Luke 23:42–43 (NIV)
“Then he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’
Jesus answered him, ‘Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.'”
He had no time to clean up his life, no good deeds to offer—only a few desperate words of faith. And Jesus didn’t hesitate.
That man had nothing but belief.
That was enough.
That’s the Gospel.
How to Accept Jesus as Your Savior
Salvation isn’t complicated. It’s a gift. It begins with a simple act of trust—believing Jesus is who He says He is, and receiving His forgiveness and grace.
If you’re ready to take that step, here’s a simple prayer to guide you:
Prayer:
“Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I know I’ve sinned, and I need Your forgiveness. I believe You died for me and rose again. Today, I put my trust in You. Come into my life. Be my Savior and Lord. Amen.”
You don’t need perfect words—just a heart that’s ready to believe.
What Now? Your Next Steps
If you prayed that prayer, you’ve started the most important journey of your life. God hears you, loves you, and walks with you.
Here’s what to do next:
- Start reading the Bible — Begin with the Gospel of John.
- Talk to God daily — Prayer is simply conversation with Him.
- Find a church — You don’t have to walk this road alone.
- Get baptized — A public declaration of your new life.
- Tell someone — Your story matters, even now.
Scriptures for Reflection
John 3:16 (NIV)
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Romans 10:9–10 (NIV)
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
Ephesians 2:8–9 (NIV)
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Closing Encouragement
If the man on the third cross can find hope in his final moments, then so can you—right here, right now.
You don’t need a perfect life. You don’t need a perfect prayer.
Just a little faith in a perfect Savior.
